I'll be rolling a better demon hunter tank then mort. Just kidding. I'm planning to heal but i haven't decided between my druid or my monk. It may depend on what i am enjoying more but odds are it will be my druid.

We haven;t posted anything about Dragon Soul yet as far as progress. Truthfully the raid has started out pretty weak. The first four bosses weren't much of a challenge outside of getting position and combinations figured out. For all three raids, Prydain is on Deathwing already and there isn't much doubt he'll be dead at least by the end of next week. Dimen will be on Deathwing as well at least by next week. The 25 man should be on Deathwing by the end of next week also. It doesn't seem like Dragon Soul mechanics are nearly as bad as Firelands was with damage. The trash is almost nonexistant compared to Firelands. The fights don't seem to be nearly as long with phases with the exception of deathwing. The rps movie between each boss are ok but just kind of annoying. The end of Deathwing movie is pretty cheesy to say the least. On the plis side LFR has been a pleasant surprise. Despite the noobproof easiness of most encountrers, it has actually been a useful tool for practicing fights. The loot is good enough for upgrades and set bonuses to get rid of 378 gear from Firelands (in Fdragon's case 346 blue helms and ZA gear LOL). Overall, I'm not very impressed by the instance itself. The spine encounter is pretty cool but fighting deathwing's claws blah. I so wanted a full scale dragon encounter but I guess blizzard was trying to be different. The new five mans are decent with some unique encounters and I think most people like them except for the thrall escort. New Year on the horizon and I see the next expansion coming out at the very least by march. I doubt this content will last long.

Its a good time to update everyone on the progress of the 25man. Two heroics down this week bringing our total to four. Razor bit the dust last week and now Ryolith and domo have hit the floor also. Although giving out loot has been difficult for the officers, I'm sure that will get easier the more we down stuff. Baleroc's countdown and his raid aids is up next for the 25man. After that Balethlic's poisons additions will be the only thing standing between us and rag. I gotta say that all the new additions to the dps ranks have certainly made us better. Especially now that there are several women keeping the guys in check in our raid. Of course gump has the heroic staff with unholy half way to getting his. The more heroics we down the quicker this will happen so hopefully we will see another one soon. I can't wait to do more stuff to get all of our raiding groups together. I think its a perfect time to make sure that all new members meet and mix with the other members. Although I know there are some people everyone should avoid *cough* Rebel * cough*. However, the newest members of all 3 groups are all good players that I hope like running and interacting with everyone here. Please feel free to participate in the upcoming guild events to meet and have fun with members from other raids. ATR FTW!!!

Its quarter of my teaching year already which means quarterly progress must be turned in on all my stuff. So i'll be out all week and I'm heading out of town this weekend for my B-Day.. I should be back sunday or monday. So I will miss tuesday and wednesday this week. If you decide to do rag without me be my guest. If not I'll be back for him and anyone else on monday.

I texted alot of guys this morning about this. My grandma went to the hospital again. As fas as i know she's ok. Not sure if she staying or going home yet. If she stays i'll probably be at the hospital tonight. if she goes home i'll probably be over there. Either way I doubt i'll raid tonight unless things change.

My pally has been healing geared for about 2 months. I have all the holy gear you can possibly get outside of frelands. If we have other healers i would like to bring my mage back in and dps again but i have no problem healing

I have training this week wednesday for my new special olympics stuff that i'm taking over. I'm also do to have boardmaker training and NCI training. NCI is thursday so that doesn't affect raiding. Not sure when boardmaker will be or what deadlines I'll have to start working on in the upcoming weeks. I'll post stuff as it comes up.

So far each week the 25 man has been making significant progress. After shannox, it took the group a week to down each boss. Ryolith took a few days, Beth took a week, and now Baleroc took a week. We have made some great progress as a group. The 25 man has been signifcantly more difficult then 10 man is so everyone should be proud of their progress. Everyone should start looking up Majordomo and Alysrazor. Alysrazor is considered by most to be the most difficult fight in firelands. Honestly, it is all about the tornadoes. Domo is all about survival of the group being able to move from one position to another. I think our work has paid off especially with the healers. Healing has been now joke in this content on 25 man. Dps has gotten better at controlling the fights. The tanks are the tanks they do their job well. I'll be off for next weeks raid Monday August 1, Tuesday August 2, and Wednesday August 3 for vacation. Lets get Razor and Domo so that when i get back we can start on Rag.

Its about 3 weeks away but i'm posting my vacation days. Saturday July 30 to Saturday August 6th is when i'll be gone. SO i'll miss August 1 2 and 3 raid days. Jlogg and Taz can manage healing very well so you'll be in good hands without me. I'll be at Pomme de Terr Lake which is about 150 miles or so from Kansas City Missouri. I'll be at a Reservation called Nemo's Bridge but they do not have internet in the Boonies so no me.

For anyone that hasn't its time to start watching videos on heroic 25 man boss fights including halfus, maloriak, and chimaeron. Just an fyi for all 25 man raiders except to spend lots of time on these bosses in the weeks to come. Do not excpect us to normal mode bot unless the week is over. If we can down halfus which we should tonight then the rest is normal in bot for awhile. Maloriak will be the first bwd heroic which means he will be the last boss we do before nef. I cannot stress enough that people need to be ready and bring their A game. These bosses are completely doable for our group. Alot of the fight relies on the healers and tanks doing more work with more communication but the dps must step up there game and maximize dps. The positioning and group may change several times during the heroic challenges some strats change quite a bit. Go watch some videos and get rdy.

I gotta admit this was the most planned and full force event i've ever seen since i started playing wow even in vanilla. I never knew how many people would actually show up and put out the effort for this guild first. The guild members really stepped up for this and I'll thank everyone who helped. No matter what anyone says it was the core of ATR that went through the raid grinds and the daily grinds to push the 25 level not mass recruitment of people we didn't know. I;ll remember this push as a truly fitting "GREAT" moment for the ATR guild.

This sounds similar to the bugs on magmaw group 2 was getting especially the one where magmaw tunred around his head to the opposite side of the lava. It seems occasionally one boss in there bugs from something. Ours always seems to be magmaw.

Lol. I'm an ssd teacher. I don't do spelling or paragraphs. I do living skills. That's it. When you teach the population I do sometimes finishing the stupid thing is more important then how it looks.

ATR progressed last night with victories over the beast Chimaeron and the Council of the Bastion of Twilight. We should have taken pictures fail us but we will get them next week when they die again. Chimaeron is a brutal fight on healers cause everyone is always dying but thats the point of the fight. Our group used tranquility rotations with druids and tree form to get past feud. Once we hit 20 percent it was all out dps including healers cause heals dont work. Can't wait to see ruff's dps on this boss. We split the room into two groups 2 ranged right with a healer, 2 ranged left with a healer, and one healer in the middle close to the melee and tanks. It worked really well with our tight circle around the boss for feud transitions. Council was a bit tricky not in the first pahse but phase 2. Phase 1 is only a problem if waterlogged people dont run through fire. Phase 2 is challenging because all members have to run to their get the air or earth buff while still healing/tanking/dpsing. The main problem we had was the spawn points for the buffs were sometimes if not all the time right next to each other. The challenge is to be patient enough to wait until the tornado moves to get it or the earth one. Pio kept dcing so we decided to 2 heal this and bring in fdragon. It wasn't recommended but with the night almost up it was worth a shot. The extra dps put us over the edge while jlogg was intervated about 3 times twice by me giving us both mana. It was brutal on jlogg and me but it worked so it was awesome. With group 1 almost downing Al Akir, it was a great Progess night. Tonight Our Group take s on Cho Gall hopefully we see our first tokens for shoulders tonight. I guarentee if Cho Gall dies there will be a picture.

Next weekend September 17.18. and 19 I'll be spending my anniversary with my Girlfriend. My actual anniversary is Wednesday September 15 but hopefully she won't come over since I;m giving her all weekend. Don't expect to see me that weekend at all.

July 17 wedding no raid, July 23- August 1 family vacation no overcast, polished, icedup, or greatbad

This weekend is going be hard to have group 2 run on saturday. With the 4th of july sunday lots of people are going out of town. This is nothing new considering its summer and lots of people take vacation at various times. Trying to figure otu what's best to do for group 2 this week. Alot of that hinges on who shows up for group 1 on tuesday versus who is missing. However, I think we are going to shoot for regular group 2 running wednesday and thursday only for this week to avoid the saturday issues on the holiday weekend. If your a raider that reads this for whatever group your in just confirm that your going to be here this week for your raid would be helpful. The more people we know are here the better the planning will be for tuesday, wednesday and thursday. Thanks for your help

Rebel's logic never makes any sense LOL!!!!!

I remember rebel mentioning that the pandas that used to make up the main portion of the Saturday run can not make most wednesday if at all. So it seems that veritas has replaced them as our sister guild roster for that run with the addition of course of more All That Rem members which is awesome. So i guess my question is our we not running with the pandas in run two on saturday if we need them to come for the second part like council on. Or do they want fresh icc 25 which means they will start running on their own without us on Saturday? Maybe honey, joy, or last are the best people to answer this question. Whatever is fine with me. I'll take pandas, i'll take veritas, and i'll take whoever ATR members want to come wednesday until mastric and geedub decide on a roster they kinda want. Just wondering.

Okay after the last two weeks of ridiculous nonsense in the Saturday run its time to set the record straight. FIRST, THE SATURDAY RUN IS NOT AN ALT RUN. Yes willi, rebel, honey, and some others run alts in the raid but they mainly do so to help with the group. The Run is now 85 percent mains. With that being said the second topic. SECOND, COME PREPARRED TO RAID. THe raid time has not changed since the run started. If you plan to come to the raid make sure your character is ready. Reagents, repairs, flasks, food, etc. bring them with you. It should not be the any other raiders responsiblity for reagents. Try to take care of real life stuff before the raid such as dinner plans. THIRD, afks and goofing off need to drop to a more exceptible level especially if the group is having trouble. There should be no reason other then an emergency to go afk between the first pull and the fourth boss saurfang. The group should knock those out in an hour. Any questions please post them here. We have gone from killing fester and rot 6 weeks ago to killing neither. I'm not very happy about that to say the least. I don't mind teaching people who want to learn but I am not baby sitting people that are coming for social goofing off. I am a nice guy and get along with everyone. I am also one of those who does goof off when the group is being successful. However, if you are in the second icc 25 run its time to realize that we need to bring it back together to progress. I'll be out from April 3 to April 11 because of play performance. I'll be off after teaching between like 4 central to about 630 server to run like the weekly and voa.
