I think I should level and play a hunter since we lack consistent hunters =P

warrior can be a tank or melee dps Druid can be a tank, melee dps, ranged dps, and healer. Literally able to fill any role the raid could need. Meaning, I can play "whatever"

I plan on playing feral druid, but I will end up playing whatever the raid team needs most (as long as it's my warrior or druid)

Many of you have expressed interested and desire to bring your alts to the heroic farm content of our main raid team. Normally I am absolutely against this, but realistically, there really shouldn't be a big issue. That being said, there need to be a set of guidelines laid out to ensure that not only does everyone have the opportunity to bring an alt, but that bring said alt would not be a detriment to the raid team in terms of causing unnecessary wipes on farm content. Here are a few requirements for bringing an alt to the main raid team Heroic Farm content. Ilvl There is no way in any corner of hell that I am going to bring your ilvl 630 fresh level 100 alt that your purchased with character boost to any raid team.... ever... Gearing characters is easier then it has ever been in the history of WoW. Your character must be at or near ilvl 685 before consideration for coming to the raid will even happen. Gear through Taanan, do some mythic dungeons, do some raid finder. Basically show some interest in playing that character and we will show an interest in helping you get some end game gear. That includes gems/enchants on gear and knowing your stat priority. Learn to Play If you have no idea how that character/class is played, you can forget it. Learn the rotation, learn your defensive CD's, learn your class mechanics that can at least be useful in a raid environment. I will not bring your alt if your intention is to tank the floor the entire fight and contribute nothing to the death of the raid boss. Participate in the Alt Run/help run Mythic Dungeons This one is pretty straight forward. If you attend the alt run, on either an alt, or your main to help out your fellow guildies, you will qualify to bring your alt to the main raid. If you don't have the free time on the weekends to attend the alt, it won't automatically disqualify you from bringing an alt. Just volunteering to run timewalking/mythic dungeons with guild groups when applicable will help. We realize that some of the raid team don't have the free time outside of raid to help be it from family or work obligations, and we will consider those people on a case by case basis based upon their performance in the main raid (i.e. Don't afk on trash)

this entire argument could have been avoided is you stated simply that you are burnt out. Instead you chose to put the blame on the rest of the raid like an asshole. You are a pretty good example of an average ATR raider. You do well enough, but you are not min/maxing, you are playing an inferior spec, you have minimal preparation for new boss fights., and in case you have forgotten, during highmaul/brf, you were one of those we had to carry because you constantly failed mechanics and you were toward the bottom on our dps meters, and you come to this thread with your chest puffed out acting elitist and caused a bigger argument than was needed or wanted. I love you man, but you need a reality check from time to time.

I feel like this post was mainly created because I stepped on his dick when I told him to stop being so negative all the time.

I can only sub people who are failing if we have subs, to have subs, we have to recruit players, sometimes these recruited players are under geared compared to the rest of the raid and we need to do farm to gear them to the rest of the raids level. Meaning we have to spend time everyweek on content most people are bored of doing. Necessary evils, and what not. I know who the people failing constantly on reaver are, i'm not fucking blind... but wtf do you want me to do about it.... I can't threaten to sit them if mythic requires 20 people and I don't have someone to replace them. I can't threaten EP because people at this point don't care about it. The best and only real option I have is what I have been doing to handle it is have myself and the other officers whisper them asking what is going on and if they are confused how something works. Which doesn't always work because we have certain people in the raid who even though they die a lot always claim it's someone's fault beside their own (ie - i didnt get enough heals.)

You're asking to make the raid team more hardcore, we tried that, or have you forgotten. News flash, it didn't work out in the long run. I'm very happy with the raid team as is, we aren't hardcore but we still manage to kill more content then 90% of the WoW community. The difference between 100 food and 125 food is not going to make or break ANY fight for a guild like ours. We will continue to push new content as long as we have players showing up for it. Is wiping frustrating, yes, it wiping because a few people are having difficulties on a specific mechanic, absolutely, but we decided as a guild at the start of the xpac that we weren't going to become like we became toward the end SoO. Hardcore mentality is harmful and makes for an unfun raid atmosphere and causes more drama then it's worth. Case in point, you made this long ass post to air the drama caused by me telling you to stop being so negative.

if you're hoping for an apology, you will never get one. Your "realistic" attitude effects the entire raid team, just because you choose not to acknowledge it is a different story. Is the raid team perfect, fuck no, we have problems, absolutely, but bitching about a problem without providing a solution is stupid and pointless. I will always put the good of the group over the feelings of an individual. Always. You're a good guy and you mean well, but shit, it's a pain in the ass as is to maintain a raid team without having to worry about people's pointless drama. So take all the time you want, ATR isn't going anywhere.
