Didn't I say something like this when we were progressing on Mythic Twins? I think I did. And I think this was basically the same response back then as it is now. it seems weird how you want to take a more critical approach to Mythic's now when it was stated a long time ago that the guild had no intention of doing so. Oh well, back to my hidey hole that is my druid. I'm not trying to bring negativity, just think you all needed a dose from the real salt lord for everyone to realize how fun everyone is, unlike me. 8)

hahahaha, only 3 people in gta channel, 22 sub channels were made... "keeping it clean" Keepo

Thought you would learn being 60 years old that you should only read in monotone and not try and see if something is sarcastic... ^ that was me being smart ass/sarcastic
-
I put the picture in because of this sentence right here. If you want to be sarcastic and a smart ass, don't complain when I give you a smart ass and sarcastic response. There is 20-30 people in the raid group at any point in time, we do our best to make sure everyone feels like their opinion is valid, but it's hard to discern who's opinion to listen too when you have a bunch of people are trying to get you to use their idea. Can't use em all I wasn't talking about being heard by an officer though, and i wasn't talking about a strategy, did you read my whole post??? I'm talking about other raiders going "oh he called me out, oh well he isn't an officer don't have to take him by his word". I didn't say that line to any of the officers at all... and it isn't a joke, when you say you will pay me 30k to get the salty title... Also how is that me being sarcastic/smart ass??

Ftfk said he would start sitting low performers on blast furnace at 9:00, because of an issue we had break before that so the time they sat people was at 9:30... we came back from break at 9, and the attempt after I called out the people who needed to step up, and made a general statement that we needed more dps on the Elementalist's, because we can't kill them all in 2 shots. saying each attempt was around 6-8 minutes, that is about 3-4 attempts to fix the issue. I guess since i'm not an officer i'm never heard/taken seriously. there was a general call out for more dps on them but names weren't given until the attempt before people were sat, but we never got to the second phase of that attempt so we couldn't correct it. I pay attention to teamspeak and I take everyones opinion seriously on there and I don't recall my name being said until then, and unless you were looking at the logs we really didn't have a for sure way of telling what our dps was like on them. I was prioritizing them and so i thought my dps was fine on them so i didn't feel the need to let my dots drop off other targets unless it was effecting my single target dps which it turns out it was, so my bad, but I could have fixed it if I knew I was a problem. It's not like most fight mechanics where its really blatant when you are fucking it up, if you get it by a train and die you know you fucked up, if oregorger rolls over you, you fucked up, if your dps is low on a certain target, it isn't as obvious, believe me, if I had heard my name called 4 attempts before hand I would have had no problem dealing with it. normally I don't have logs open during raid because you simply dont need all that info, but that is a fight where its obviously worth it. Skada/Recount -> Enemy damage taken -> Primal Elementalist.. you don't need logs to see the damage, logs just give a more accurate representation. When there was a general point made, I then called the lower people out. Even if you don't hear, if there is a dps problem on a target, you should look at that next time. For example, for our Blackhand p2 Progress, the demolisher needs to be dps'd by the range some. oh darn... maybe we will actually kill BF this time because we won't have an afk starfall bot. Kappa...

I don't feel like quoting, 1) The person marked goes to a marked location so only two people get affected. (mark should be right behind the tanks) This makes it so only the tank gets effected by crystalized blood, and no other player gets hit with the spray 3) yeah, but sometimes it just gets plopped right into melee, they should still bring it outside, but melee/range still need to watch for it. (It's tons of damage/wipe worthy) During burn phase you wanna kill the blooded, admiral, then the other. The turrets nuked by range... The turrets really aren't a big deal, the bosses just need to be tanked away from them to dodge the "bullets" Also, you should be able to lust twice during this fight (around a 13 min fight) So lust should be during start and burn phases
-
Wouldn't you still be a veteren?
-
Instead of having Tbear roll and roll and roll taking the boss away to get the mark out of melee we should ping bong him back and forth infront of the throne. ~12 minutes in they cut their video between the stack points we would be using. (This is the first video I found, I'll try and find one that shows it all) ~26:10 is the fluid motion, 27:00 is him explaining it

it has two upgrades for me, while heroic has 14 upgrades and more for others. Also, I have stated before, the fights already have strategy videos from beta. Nothing big has changed from beta to now. We should know the fights before February the 3rd anyways.
-
You are in the mindset that someone that gets a tier piece will get another tier piece to complete the set to make it worth it. Heroic tier is still way better than normal. If you want your tier sets that bad, you will have better luck pugging it since it's going to be easier to pug than Highmaul, and you won't be in EPGP debt. Plus it has been stated multiple times, Highmaul is harder than BRF, getting 680 gear has a chance to gear everyone, and not just the people who are below 665+. Nothing you have said convinces me that BRF normal is worth a scheduled raid night.
-
BRF Normal gear is 665. Most of our raiders are passed that, we would really gain nothing spending time on normal. There are already strategies in place from beta. Yeah there are tier pieces, but the tier pieces we should be aiming for are the heroic ones. Normal = Heroic on everything but the amount of damage needed/taken, so I would think that normal is even more useless now.

Because he DC'd once and said he was good. We trust that he's not intentionally lying to us for one, and people can't predict when they'll be DC'd for two. Really, why is this even being asked? How would YOU feel if we were close to a kill and you DC'd once just to be sat and we got the kill without you? He dc'd twice.... and you guys put him in right after he reconnected. If you disconnect once, there is a REALLY FUCKING GOOD CHANCE that your will disconnect soon again. Not all at once. These are people that got sat at one point or another due to excessive failing of mechanics. We have a comfortable bench but it's still only 5 or so people on most nights. If we sit every person who messes up during that fight, we'd be sitting 3 people every fight and nobody would get comfortable, nobody would improve and it would take FOREVER to constantly swap people. The bench is also a lot of the lower dps,and I never said sit someone if they hit the mine or fell in a pit once. So say you have 3 out of the 5 decent people on the bench that actually bring progression worthy dps. Since you don't need to have 20 people that's like 8 people getting sat. We don't have 28 people. So what I've been saying is that we won't have 20 people to kill Margok, so lets bring 20 people to kill a slightly easier boss.

Muln, on 15 Jan 2015 - 4:33 PM, said: Do you have anything constructive to add or are you just complaining? We are not gods, we can't predict the future. We can't predict that somebody will DC out of nowhere. We had a LOT of DC problems last night and it seemed to be a problem that randomly affected multiple people and wasn't limited to one or even two people. Are you seriously upset at the decision to bring in Will since he ended up DCing? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He was here for the beginning of the fight, so he would have benefited from the lust as well. And yeah, we had only like 3 different people dc, others were that they couldn't log right back in without a comp restart. Those people were Roqwell, Arma and Will. You should give people time to recover from disconnecting and put in someone else instead of putting them right back in after they reconnect. We had plenty of non disconnecters on the bench that were much more reliable. Also, you ARE describing a perfect scenario for lusting at 100 favor. First off we would need the high favor which would mean a) The BoP happened properly b)The correct people go up on chain hurl c) we do well in the stands killing all the bombers and grunts for low heckle d) people burn the cat e) nobody dies to the cat f) we have all 20 people connected and alive Then, and only then does your lusting at high favor work, which doesn't happen often during progression. Do you have anything constructive to add or are you just complaining? We brought Will in right after he reconnected instead of bringing in a more stable dps like Gromn or Jesseh??? I was saying that it wasn't a perfect scenario because Will was dc. Why is everything I say looked at as a complaint or an attack? holy shit... it's both a complaint because it was a poor choice and should be constructive.

Of course a kill is always more enjoyable than a wipe, but that's completely off the point. If you're mad because of either: a) People not being sat; Not everyone doing as much dps as you. c) Progressing as a guild on a boss you already went out and pugged; you don't need to throw a tantrum, as it only spoils the raid atmosphere. The group is clearly divided between 2 opinions: Some people are here for the "semi-casual" raiding atmosphere as we advertise on all of our recruitment posts, and then there's others who only seek to push more and more content no matter what, and are upset because they feel they're being held back. There's clearly a lot of tensions between those 2 mindsets, and that's something we don't need. Or you know, we could also simply not bash on Will because he had internet issues for our two last attempts. Just a thought. Why did we keep him in instead of bring in someone wasn't having connection issues like oh idk Jesseh or Gromn? I'm not bashing on Will as a player, but why keep him in? Also, to your 'spoiling the atmosphere' point. 1) How is wanting someone to sit because they are failing mechanics toxic in any way? It will be needed to kill the boss 2) I don't give a shit about people doing less dps than me because I know I will be top with Fire Nova, it's just my class, but people who do less damage than their single target need to be questioned. 3) I didn't pug it, I did the progression on my druid in another guild. I would still like to kill it on my shaman, because it is my main class and an entirely different perspective on the fight I'm not throwing a tantrum, I don't care what boss we kill next but I'm leaning to mythic because Mythic is more fun for me. But having the mindset that more people will get the heroic kill over a mythic kill is what I've been arguing about. If Snugg sat 6 people for mechanic issues, that is basically less than the 20 people right there.
-
Having different strats for farm and kill should be a thing though. That's what happens after a boss is on farm. Also you are describing a perfect scenario, which never happened last night. we 19 manned it, because apparently we like bringing in people with connection issues.
-
And this right here is why we have a shitty raid atmosphere. Yeah it is, because people get frustrated when people don't get sat for failing mechanics or doing low dps which results in a wipe. There are not enough fun people in the guild to make a wipe more enjoyable than a kill. Then, they take that frustration out before, during and after raid. If that was about my comment, i didn't say why have a mythic team i said they need to be replaced. Replaced with who? It takes longer than a day to recruit people. We 19 manned Kargath, does that mean we need to replace Willshattner?

Whatever you say, but when people keep on failing mechanics and don't get sat because "if we do it with less than 20 people then why have a mythic team", people like me are going to get mad. How do you know how we roll?
-
How is Kargath harder? melee just need to move around a little bit, and range just need to be by a pillar 24/7. Also if one person fails a mechanic, it doesn't set the whole raid behind. Only 3 pieces of loot drops for 15 people
-
It's not that we didn't have tanks or healers, it's that people don't wanna stop casting to move out of a displacement, and melee are way to careless about where they are standing for Force Nova. We even had this happen quite a lot during the optional raids and even more on the scheduled raid day. Apparently mechanics are hard for most of our guild, so that's why we went to a easier fight light Kargath because getting 20 people gear is better than getting 14,15 people gear
-
We trimmed people in the past due to poor mechanics and poor dps. We have done this fight on a scheduled raid day already, do you not remember? We sure as shit didn't have 20 or more people. It wasn't log'd because it was right after Scotmonk left.
-
What I was getting at is that we will need to trim people down to kill him, more than likely trim to less than 20 people.
-
I honestly don't see how Heroic > Mythic and why people need to clear an instance before going to the next difficulty. Plus, the team for Heroic Imp will probably be less than 20 people, because we would need the better dps, and better healing to kill the boss for the amount of mechanics he has. So what is better? Getting a chance at 20 people getting loot or >20 people getting loot?
